I just graduated from Tech with an undergraduate degree in geography and a minor in planning. There is not, that i know of, a linked program in either graduate department, however, both departments work closely with one another (students from one dept. are constantly in classes of the other, for example) and the geography department allows for a lot of freedom when choosing an area of focus.The graduate program is organized around areas that reflect the interests and competencies of the graduate faculty including Cartography, Geographic Information Systems (GIS, Remote Sensing, Climatology, Biogeography, Historical-Cultural Geography, Geographic Education, Geomorphology, Hydrology, Political and Medical Geography, and Urban ...
