Be prepared to pay crazy amounts of money (or work very hard for a scholarship) just to teach everything to yourself.I paid $600 for a parking pass that I can't use on game days (there are no spots) and almost have to miss class due to not finding a parking spot because weekend visitors take priority. Most of the professors I had seemed to only care about their research and their research grant and did not seem to care if their students succeed. The dorms are so run down and old and have no social life within them (Middle Earth).Professor Shapiro's class is hard, but it is sooooo interesting. TBH if you are looking for an easy science class at UT you're gonna be out of luck. He is so passionate!!!! And all lectures will be recorded and available, which makes it a lot easier to study. She has a perfect blend of stories/jokes and teaching. Her homework and quizzes can be a little difficult, but if you can do them without any help the tests will be easy for you. Truly a gem of a school, with small class sizes, and in a nice, quiet place to study. The professors truly care and are passionate about what they study. UT Martin is offering countless opportunities in west Tennessee and beyond. Reputation. The people are much nicer and the academics are easier and more manageable than in El Paso. UTEP is not an easy school, professors are very stingy and strict, and the students for the most part are rude and appallingly crude as well as the professors. Murphy is one of the best lecturers in McCombs and every class was interesting to attend. A lot of weight is given to the entrepreneurship project at the end--make sure to put in good effort.
