Ram 2500 stuck in 4th gear
It didn’t go into 4WD auto but when I tried after restarting it went into 4WD low. Then the light came on again and it won’t switch out. Reset codes, unplugged battery for 15 minutes, light still on. Won’t change out. I checked the front axle lock cable extension and it’s good and added dielectric grease for good measure, still nothing.Easy to fix, just take the top of the trans off from inside the cab and check it out, easy to see if it's trying to go into two gears at the same time.
