It's not like it was unheard of in the medieval era that for a few coins you got a meal and a bed, or a sleeping spot on the ground but under a roof anyways. 30 days. as you can sleep at anytime to go to the next season and having 30 days gives you alot of time to ♥♥♥♥ around in the current season. 3 days felt ridiculously short, but I can understand why it's the default. 5 days felt about right for pacing, but I wanted it a little long, so I bumped it up to 7 days.Wanted to get another villager but needed more housing but had reached the building limit of 8/8.I destroyed one of the small house and built the next tier house (fits 4 people). The villagers remain homeless, and assigning them to the either house doesn't work. I wish villagers would just move in automaticly when housing is available.For those of you just starting out or anyone who feels rushed to complete quests before the seasons change - I highly recommend settling your seasons to 30 days long. You can skip to the next season any sleep after the third night. This allows me to take my time hunting and exploring without feeling rushed. I can tackle side quests at my own pace.
