You can get or make an adapter to use a 318 blade on a 430, but it takes a lot of different parts to convert a 318/47 snowblower to work on a 430. It would be easier and cheaper to trade the 318/47 for one that fits a 430. The John Deere cabs aren't bad at all, but a Cozy cab is nicer, I have one for my 420. The 317 cab will not fit a 318, IMO you would be better off waiting for the right cab.
