The last of our types of jellyfish is the lion’s mane jellyfish which is known as being the largest in the world. The largest-ever lion’s mane jellyfish had a bell with a diameter of 2.1 meters / 7 feet. Each fully grown jellyfish can have up to 1,200 tentacles, which can reach up to 36.6 meters / 120 feet long.Like other box jellyfish, the newfound species has 24 eyes arranged in clusters of six around its cubic body.
