I've seen a lot of young mechanics use an impact wrench on lug nuts, either too ignorant or too lazy to use a torque wrench and look up the settings. 22mm seems a better fit, but 7/8" seems ok too. You could pull the lug wrench from the car and see what size it is.This is by far the simplest method. We just did this on a trail repair when my bud popped a bead. He ran doors off and the lug key was in the door netting. Took about a minute to get the lug off. If you cannot find the key remove them all this way and buy another set. Yep, 1/2-20 is correct. -When you have a choice, buy American. some/most aluminum rims will slightly recess the lug nut. If yours do, then you'll need a 3/4 and a thin walled impact socket. Otherwise you can do it with a 13/16, but you'll scratch the hell out of the rims.
