I believe it needs the other 2 wires hooked up for the body computer to know if the lid's open or closed, or if it's in 'lock' or 'unlock' position. I tried ohming things out, and checking voltage when I pushed the trunk release button, and lock/unluck, etc.Key broke off in trunk lock, have no key fob, trunk button doesn't work, cannot get seat back off, cannot get into trunk. If you knew how they worked you could open it by jumping pin 30 to pin 87 in fuse box. on the side of the relay is a diagram of what pins are what .
