It's pretty reliable and cheap for the price you get it. Then came the input lag, which ruined my fun completely. I tried multiple solutions, including removing the Saitek software and installing Universal Joystick Remapper and VJoy. I started out with hotas (and rudder) but about 9 months ago switched to hosas (2 sticks). The only regret I have is that I didn't switch earlier! In space, you need six degrees of freedom (input): 3 rotational (XYZ) and 3 lateral (movement along XYZ). And with two sticks you have all these in a natural way/flow.
