The culture in the great plains can be very diverse as it is very mixed. In the great plains there is an accent of English that elongates certain letters in the dictionary. Another part of food culture in the great plain is barbecue. Unlike in the rest of America which barbecue is mainly in use of pork, Texas barbecue is very dependent on beef. This led to much more food being transported to the East Coast. On the other hand, lot of people from the East Coast saw an opportunity in the Great Plains region, to have their own farms, produce a lot of crops or grains, and earn nice amount of money, so they were gradually moving in by using the railroads to do it easily and quickly.
