You're probably using Elden Mod Loader to load the Seamless Coop dll. You would need to rename the dinput8.dll that is part of Elden Mod Loader to something like _dinput8.dll whenever you want to go online. Another option if you're only using Seamless Coop is to use the launcher it comes with located in your game directory, create a shortcut on ... GoE isn't worth the money.
