I'd like to add the New Cobra, New King Cobra, New Python, and the New Anaconda to the list. The other models might utilize the same grip frame size so equivalent old type grips will interchange, but for the Cobra, I know the new frame is slightly different, where the edges are beveled.Additionally, the new gun is easier to control and has less recoil. Overall, the new Colt Python is a better gun than the original. However, there are some drawbacks to the new gun. First, it is more expensive than the original.
