What is a Registered Behavior Technician? A Registered Behavior Technician(RBT) is a paraprofessional certified in behavior analysis. RBTs assist in delivering behavior analysis services and practice under the direction and close supervision of an RBT Supervisor and/or an RBT Requirements Coordinator, who are responsible for all work RBTs perform.Online training programs, universities, and agencies provide training that covers the RBT 2nd Edition Task List as outlined by the BACB. This training must take at least 5 days, but not more than 180 days from start to finish.
