Nov 1, 2021 · Army Compositions will make lords buy & recruit troops in relation to an ideal army composition. This is essentialy TW's planned feature of 'Party Templates'. Planned Features . Currently these compositions are based on culture. Each Composition is a sum of desired troop types that always amount to 100%. Basicaly works on these premises: What makes it so good though is that you can rapidly capture cities and castles without worrying about rebellions. There's about x3 Empire cities compared to all other cultures. Vlandia is my current choice because the mercenary mechanic was fin to try, the castle perk is good for an early kingdom and the debuff is currently a buff.

Vlandia is the best for roughly that army composition. Use roughly 75% t3+ Vlandian Crossbowmen and 25% Vlandian Cavalry. If you want to stay one faction I would recommend empire.
